Reporting into our Swiss based Controllership organization, we have an opening out our
Irish Center of Expertise Controllership team. The role will be part of a dynamic group of
highly skilled professionals having the responsibility of 30+ entities within a very fast paced
and challenging business environment. Beyond your operational responsibilities, you will
need to demonstrate strong leadership to continuously enhance our processes through
innovation, as well as providing a high level of support to our Business Partners.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage select key close closing processes, (preparing, documenting entries and
preparing related balance sheet accounts reconciliations) in both local GAAP and US
GAAP books
Support the integration of newly acquired companies into the Salesforce accounting
structure
Manage Audit enquires (US GAAP, Local GAAP and Tax) related to key close
processes
Responsible for understand differences between US GAAP and local GAAP and for
key close processes assigned and performing the adjustments and calculations
needed.
Complete the monthly flux analysis of the results (Balance Sheet and Income
Statement) to support the controls structure.
Partner with General Business Operations (GBO) Partners to understand planned
monthly activities and forecasting and anticipate forecast adjustments necessary to
help drive business decisions
Responsible for compliance of SOX controls for the predefined areas.
Liaise with external and internal auditors preparing and providing required
documentation and explanation.
Required Skills/Experience:
Accounting designation required (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc).
3+ years in accounting experience
Experience working in a fast paced Multinational environment for a publically traded
company.
Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
Experience in working in a multi-ledger environment
Experience participation in SOX compliance programs and other country
equivalents.
Experience in major ERP and associated applications and interfaces
Results oriented, team player, willing to work in a fast growing and challenging
environment
Hands-on, decisive and fast worker
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Be a catalyst for change and able to respond quickly to various requests.
English spoken and writing is required, another European language is a plus.
