Chargify is seeking a talented and passionate Implementation Consultant to work at the front end of our Client Services operation. The ideal candidate is an experienced, motivated, and passionate customer success professional who loves to help customers solve their problems and achieve their desired outcomes. They will establish and grow relationships with our merchants, guide them through the implementation process, and ensure they adopt the product successfully and are continually driving business value from Chargify.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Passionate about software technology who can immediately add value to the team and help build a first-in-class onboarding program.
  • Act as a hands-on, consultative onboarding specialist to guide new merchants from contract signature to fully operational by collecting and communicating feature requirements to internal and external teams.
  • Clearly communicate Chargify’s functionality to address merchants’ requirements
  • Leverage excellent project management methodologies to assist Chargify’s merchants in migrating their billing business.
  • Understanding and explaining API workflow and implementing Chargify’s API best practices is essential.
  • Shepherd new merchants through training, account configuration, and deriving solutions to complex issues relating to optimizing their financial operations and workflow across multiple systems
  • Work comfortably and credibly with dynamic sales pipeline teams and Customer Success personnel, and accounting staff in high growth, emerging SaaS businesses
  • Provide Chargify product expertise across multiple platforms. Don’t worry, we will teach you what you need to know, and you will become an expert in no time!
  • Help merchants achieve their desired business outcomes while also driving accountability to complete onboarding projects in a timely manner
  • Establish new merchants as passionate champions for Chargify because of their satisfaction with our product, processes, and people
  • Collaborate with management to refine the onboarding processes
  • Strive to continuously improve skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn and establish best practices
  • Build and grow lasting relationships with Chargify’s merchants as the primary point of contact during the implementation phase of the merchant journey
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Support, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to help deliver exceptional customer experiences

  • Experience working with APIs - creating API calls, understanding of API framework
  • Ability to present highly technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and develop merchant relationships and implementation projects
  • Ability to work closely with the merchant to identify pain points and solutions
  • Strong business acumen is required in order to translate merchant business use case(s) into a configurable product setup
  • Takes complete ownership of work; pride in every detail
  • Flexibility to manage multiple, simultaneous onboarding projects
  • Ability to methodically and rigorously pursue solutions
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field
  • 4+ years in customer-facing account management, or implementation role at a SaaS company
  • 2+ years driving projects and meetings via web conference and phone
  • 2+ years experience in manipulating and cleansing large volumes of data
  • Experience working with APIs and understanding of software development cycle
  • Salesforce, Zendesk, JIRA, and other project management SaaS tools preferred
  • Experience in Excel formulas and macros, preferred
