Someone who wants to be part of leading a product development team from day one. This is an opportunity to have a voice and make big decisions about how a new online service will be created. We are a funded “startup” that is spinning out of an existing, profitable company that already has thousands of customers. Through our subject matter expertise, we’ve spotted an opportunity to create incredible value. We are looking for the right person to architect and lead the development of a new web service that will involve web/mobile web and hybrid mobile apps built with React Native.

We are looking for someone who is willing to use off-the-shelf software tools to speed up the MVP launch cycle, yet has the technical chops to build it all from scratch. This project will involve implementing a headless CMS, among other components. We want someone who understands development best practices, modern application development, and modern techniques that would make the solution supportable by non-superhero programmers. We want a believer in elegant, adequately documented solutions. We don’t want to go down the rabbit hole with esoteric technology. We want a well-worn path that’s modern and leading edge.

We are looking for a team leader who, in addition to being a great solution architect and developer, is also an open communicator who has an entrepreneurial bend and work ethic. You will have led multiple cross-platform, hybrid app development projects before and enjoy mentoring junior team members. You may be based anywhere.
