Do you have an affinity for design, but also enjoy the challenges of development? A grad design tooling developer is a fun mix of both! You'll work alongside designers to understand what makes them tick, then build the tools they need to fly.
The teams you work alongside every single day will have a different problem to take on, and understanding how to best approach their problems will be the key to your success. It's a fun combo of design and coding, with a hint of UX research mixed in. As part of the Design System team you will be able to work with designers across the entire business who work on products including Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, and more. You should be someone who can be empathetic with our users, but also knows when it's time to drive forward and craft the best interactions possible.
- You'll test, research and iterate to ensure they address the problems designers have.
- You'll design and build plugins for Sketch as well as explore other mediums/tools to best solve the problem.
- You'll collaborate with design teams on the latest ideas.
- Basic experience with HTML/CSS.
- Passion for design.
Bonus point qualifications
- Familiarity with Sketch
- Familiarity with Objective C and OSX UI development
- Familiarity with ES7+ for JS
