AMS Analyst II – Payroll

Position Summary/Objective

As an Analyst II – Payroll you will be the point-of-contact for tier two resolution – working directly with our customer and internal teams to quickly resolve more complex issues and requests. You’ll also perform system testing, documentation and handle change requests. Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, troubleshoots and manages system issues to resolution
  • Works directly with customer to analyze and document problem, recommend solution, initiate corrective actions, follow up on problem resolution and inform customer of status.
  • Responsible for adhering to the current project management methodology while influencing best practices, process improvements, and procedures
  • Interfaces with the customer to understand the customer’s overall objectives and requirements
  • Assists Consultants with project based work

  • Proactively reviews data and deliverables for issues and escalates

  • Working knowledge of customer requirements and ability to translate into technical specifications
  • Actively leveraging Workday resources to research and solve problems
  • Delivers consistent and reliable work
  • Involved in the Day to Day configuration

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibility

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (MIS, CS, HR, Accounting..)
  • 1-3 years of technical support/functional experience/training in HCM, Payroll, or Time and Absence with with a concentration in requirements, process analysis and documentation with demonstrated customer-facing skills in the understanding and implementation of business requirements
  • Technical/Functional support of known ERP system or Technical support of other systems functionality including configuration/set-up
  • Functional experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Manager
  • Experience intimeline management, issue tracking, and configuration execution
  • Experience in managing relationships and SLA’s with 3rd party ticketing system
  • Possess beginner/intermediate level Excel skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Workday experience preferred
