Our need We need a Magento 2 Back End Engineer who will be responsible for providing quality solutions that meet development requirements in support of our eCommerce platform projects. Responsibilities and duties The Magento 2 Back End Engineer is primarily responsible for producing quality, on-budget, and on-schedule solutions on projects. Responsibilities and duties include: Creatively solve complex problems Development on the Magento 2 platform Develop custom extensions to be released as third-party add-ons Contribute to internal initiatives such as improving our development processes Qualifications and skills Very comfortable in HTML/CSS, Javascript & JQuery, Git, SASS or LESS, PHP, SQL, MySQL Experience with XML and importing/exporting XML files Debugging and troubleshooting skills Exposure to API integrations Understanding of Object Oriented Principles Debugging and troubleshooting skills Magento 2 Certified Professional Associate Developer 2+ years of experience in web development, including maintenance programs, integrations, and servers Likes mentoring, coaching, and training others Excellent written and oral communication skills with team members and clients Understanding of Composer (Nice to have) Understanding of KnockoutJS (Nice to have)
