The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Architect to join us in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, you will work as a part of an on-site delivery team responsible for designing and deploying modern automation, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and other related solutions. You'll help us deliver freedom, flexibility, choice, and premium performance to customers. As an Architect, you will travel to customer sites to gain an understanding of customer overall information technology (IT), cloud, and business needs, as well as to learn about their specific environments and gain knowledge to deploy strategies, integration points, and optimizations. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

• Implement and integrate Red Hat’s open and hybrid cloud solutions, including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat CloudForms
• Collaborate with project and customer teams’ associates to meet timelines and goals
• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including ticket or bug management
• Mentor and share your knowledge with customers
• Develop and implement automation and integration for the cloud and system infrastructure solutions of our customers, using Ruby or Python
• Define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time to market
• Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods

• 10+ years of technology experience, including classes, in either consulting, operations, help desk or service desk, development, or related internships
• 10+ years of experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative
• 2+ years of experience with the Ruby or Python programming languages
• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat’s cloud solutions, including Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat CloudForms
• Practical experience with DevOps or agile processes
• Experience with operating system architecture and concepts including virtualization and container implementations like KVM and Docker
• Experience using public cloud technologies and providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security
