About The Opportunity

As the B2B Sales Lead you'll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and Business Development team to improve lead generation, convert prospects, and meet B2B and partnership goals.

You will be using your extensive sales experience to advise on best practices for lead generation, streamlining conversions, and building a future sales and client success team.

You will draft sales training material and conduct training for your team. You will interact closely with product managers to understand core tenets of the product, and to create sales plans.

You will manage a sales CRM and incorporate automation to help keep track of the deal status, correspond with potential partners and clients, and to hand off the final post-sale stage to an automated contract process.

You will conduct informal surveys and interviews with your clients, understand lost deals, and surface the underlying reasons and concerns to the relevant stakeholders.

Above all, you will interact with potential partners and clients, and close deals.

 
About You

GOAL ORIENTED: You are able to distill trackable and realistic goals for your sales efforts given all of the debriefs you have about the product and the market. You are able to prioritize sales goals by conducting triage.

STRUCTURED: You are able to cleanly define different aspects of the sales effort, create tasks for your team, and define requirements for product managers, automation engineers, and engineering leads to close deals.

Maintains a critical view on processes and is ready to define new ways of working and refine existing ones.

PROCESS ORIENTED: You will be working closely with our market analysts who has already built many useful automated flows and pipelines to manage various aspects of Tacen's BD and Sales efforts.

You ensure that the process you helped to design reduces overall time to close deals.

You ensure that all sales efforts are extensively documented with status updates, descriptions of the leads, and notes of meetings that are held.

 
Must Haves
  • Penchant for correct grammar and accurate pronunciation.
  • Document drafting experience with clear and concise style.
  • Great relationship building skills. The blockchain industry is new and tight-knit, this requires special attention to client needs.
  • Prior experience selling B2B software or SaaS products or services.
  • Have created and/or managed a sales team.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of the blockchain industry.
  • Owned some crypto assets personally and has used it a few times.
 
Nice to Haves
  • Experience setting up and fine-tuning automated sales processes.
  • Marketing experience having closely worked with marketing teams to improve lead generation.
  • Has legal or compliance know-how, especially pertaining to AML/KYC for financial services.
  • Outside of sales functions, worked closely with product strategy development.
  • Language proficiency in Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Vietnamese, Arabic, or Igbo.
