The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Business Development Manager to join us in Bogota, Colombia, or São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the relationship between Red Hat and academic entities in Latin America by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at target companies. You'll oversee the development of strategic market and product line business plans and marketing programs to support training sales in designated market segments. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

• Conduct make-or-buy analyses from a partnership and acquisitions perspective
• Develop a strategic direction from market information to create compelling market analysis presentations
• Identify opportunities for business expansion
• Develop and manage relationships in strategic markets and accounts that will take business development activities further

• 5+ years of direct experience in the training sales field
• Background in the software industry and academic ecosystems
• Business-oriented; subject matter expert in the training sales field
• Fluent English language skills
• Portuguese and Spanish language skills are highly recommended
