Red Hat’s Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Finance team is looking for an experienced Business Finance Analyst with excellent communication and analytical skills to join us in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Operations and Marketing teams while providing data and business insights to the Sales Management team. You’ll also have the opportunity to partner closely with sales, channel, and product teams across the business. As a Business Finance Analyst, you’ll get to be part of a high-performance, innovative culture.

• Prepare weekly forecast reports for individual sales teams and associates in the region
• Follow statistical trends to support the forecasts, including close rates, linearity, and early renewal trends
• Track performance of our sales representatives, including linearity, product mix, pipeline analysis, and coverage
• Provide planning and support for managers based on historical performance data for segments and representatives
• Provide quota setting support and change tracking and communication for representative managers
• Prepare and compile quarterly key performance indicators
• Perform financial modeling, planning, and dashboard maintenance
• Provide support on reporting and business-finance related issues in a timely manner
• Provide leadership to visual and dynamic reporting and analytics dashboard solutions for executive consumption
• Ensure continuous innovation through identification of enhancement opportunities in reporting and analytics processes
• Streamline current reporting processes using existing tools like SQL databases, Python, etc.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or finance or IT qualification is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in an enterprise high technology or software environment; experience working in a sales, finance, or support role for sales or related teams
• Solid spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large datasets, conducting time series analyses, and building financial models with sensitivity analysis
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel

The following skills are considered a plus:

• Experience with Google Sheets
• Experience with Tableau and Salesforce.com (SFDC) reporting
• Technical skills in SQL, R, or Python
