The Red Hat Enterprise Data and Analytics team is looking for a Business Intelligence Visualization Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team in Pune, India. In this role, you will primarily support the Marketing team, our internal customer. You'll work as part of the operational and analytical reporting team, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise business intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports. As a Business Intelligence Visualization Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional team, gathering reporting requirements and coordinating with business analysts to catalog all necessary data offerings. Using your skills and experience as a BI developer, you will participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of reports and dashboards that use underlying enterprise data store(s), data warehouse(s), or data mart(s).

• Build enterprise-grade operational and analytical reports and dashboards for internal business customers
• Create impactful data visualizations that use data storytelling to quickly convey business insights to customers
• Implement fit-for-purpose visualization solutions founded on a thorough understanding of business objectives and KPIs
• Champion technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes
• Create and execute unit and integration testing
• Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
• Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members
• Perform duties with moderate to low supervision
• Articulate solutions and recommendations on complex issues within your area of expertise
• Passion for learning and implementing advanced analytics methodologies

• 5+ years of experience building impactful analytical dashboard and operational reports
• Advanced Tableau development capabilities; ability to design and implement complex and impactful executive dashboards with focus on detail and analysis pathways to other supporting reports

• Experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards

• Experience working in marketing, customer support, sales, or finance domains

• Ability to develop and maintain Tableau self-service reports

• Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries as required
  solid SQL and ETL development skills

• Excellent analytical ability, communication skills, solid judgment, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical associates

The following are considered a plus:

• Industry-recognized Tableau certifications
• Knowledge of more than one BI tool like SAS Visual Analytics, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), Qlik Sense, etc.
• Demonstrated expertise and vision in data visualization and storytelling
