Join Red Hat's Products and Technologies (PnT) Operations team as we lead fundamental changes in how we conduct our business. The Red Hat Operations team is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help improve the processes that we use to bring new solutions and programs to market in the PnT team. You’ll join a team that supports business unit goals, while growing, sharing, and helping guide the company's evolution to open hybrid cloud computing. As a Business Process Analyst, you will need to apply business principles and best practices to improve the process of how we select tools, how we implementat rollouts to our field teams and partners, and how we assess the effectiveness of existing offers. You’ll also need an ability to rapidly respond to the changing requirements of our business.


  • Be responsible for guiding and carrying out the adoption of high priority process improvement changes throughout Red Hat as related to offering and program implementation
  • Assist with the mapping of current state processes, stakeholder requirements, and roadmaps to achieve a desired future state
  • Evaluate processes, feedback sessions with stakeholders, and continuous coordination across business teams
  • Cooperate with other operations associates, product teams, and field-facing business development teams
  • Recognize operational efficiencies that will reduce friction and enable Red Hat to scale more efficiently
  • Report to the manager of the Business Operations team in the PnT Operations team

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in operations, program management, project management, agile methodology, process improvement, or six sigma; or 8+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven record of success working on team projects
  • Demonstrated and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly motivated, organized, meticulous, and deadline-oriented
  • Ability to serve as a business-minded change agent within the organization
  • Outstanding relationship building skills and ability to understand the needs of internal customers
  • Experience establishing and contributing to process improvements
  • Ability to apply project management and business analyst skill sets to solve unique and time-sensitive problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills manifested in the ability to provide clear and concise recommendations relative to complex problems and analysis; comfortable communicating and presenting to executives
