What You'll Do

 

A CloudBees Specialist is a professional technical communicator & domain expert with a deep understanding of CD, DevOps, Software Development, Enterprise Transformation, Application Rationalization, Cloud, Containers and more. They have a demonstrated recognition of domain expertise in external sources such as publications, speaking engagements, or social media channels. CloudBees Specialists report to the Senior Director of Sales Specialists and will be part of the global sales organization.

 

As a Specialist, you work directly with field to identify and strategize on active accounts to increase the credibility of CloudBees in enterprise engagements. You will evangelize DevOps Strategies via social media and speaking channels. Job includes accompanying sales on calls with prospects, leading with subject matter expertise, leveling up the conversation. Specialists are expected to keep external presence authoring articles, blogging, and driving thought leadership in your field of expertise. You must have a personality that can sell software and be willing to fight for what you believe. You will be tasked with meeting companies where they are, understand their DevOps transformation goals and challenges and providing technical and strategic guidance.

What the Role Requires

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound DevOps enthusiast with the experience to drive highly technical and strategic discussions. Hands-on experience developing architecting and releasing enterprise software. Sales skills will be equally important as you will need to understand, articulate and have an authentic passion for how CloudBees Products and services help drive significant DevOps transformations for enterprises. You will need to have a deep knowledge of all things CD, DevOps, Cloud and the ability to leverage that knowledge in a high or low-level strategy discussion.

 

Experience working through organizational changes, developing and implementing creative solutions. Deep knowledge of change management processes and tools to create a strategy to help companies drive their DevOps Transformation. Assess change readiness to include all stakeholders, support and infrastructure. Insights on key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry. 3+ years advising, scoping and delivering transformative technology services to enterprises.
