The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Account Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Red Hat's regional distributor and reseller account management in the South East Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong (SEATH) region, guiding the implementation and sales performance in all countries in the region. You’ll manage and continue building a Channel Account Management team in SEATH responsible for the relationships with our distributors and key reselling partners (Red Hat Ready Partners and Advanced Business Partners). As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you will work with our local channel account managers and the territory Sales and extended partner teams (Marketing, Operations, and Support teams) to carry out our strategy.


  • Implement the SEATH Distribution Channel Sales strategy for Red Hat
  • Provide leadership and support to the local channel account managers
  • Own and meet a revenue quota; perform regular forecasting and overview about your assigned partners' opportunities
  • Work on a cross-functional leadership team to build an integrated coverage model within our SEATH regions to create a channel-centric team (including
  • Channel Presales and Channel Marketing teams)
  • Set programs and priorities for the channel account managers

  • 5+ years of sales experience with outstanding track record
  • Field sales account management experience
  • Channel sales management experience, including managing distributors, large solutions providers and value added resellers (VARs)
  • Experience building and managing overachieving teams of channel account managers
  • Good working knowledge of Red Hat's channel program and the partner ecosystem
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a cross-functional environment
