The Red Hat Channel Solutions Architecture team is looking for a Channel Solutions Architect to join us in Texas to work with our value-added resellers (VARs) and regional systems integrators (SIs). In this role, you will develop a trusted advisor status with our VARs and regional SIs to help facilitate and accelerate the adoption of our innovative open source Red Hat infrastructure, cloud, and middleware technologies and help guide Red Hat's sales across the customer base in the South Central part of the U.S. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
- *Primary job responsibilities**
+ Demonstrate Red Hat's value proposition on our cloud portfolio to key partner executives, sales, and technical teams to help identify and create valuable partnerships
+ Develop and deliver technical enablement plans with partners that are aligned with our North America (NA) strategy
+ Conduct workshops and facilitate engineering and presales contacts with the partner ecosystem
+ Encourage and establish Red Hat's offerings as the leading technology solutions, keeping a focus on our cloud technologies
+ Own and meet revenue quotas and perform regular reviews and reports on the opportunities that your assigned partners are working on
+ Facilitate regular communication between partners, Red Hat's business teams, and Red Hat's field sales teams
+ 5+ years of experience working in data center infrastructure planning, design, and implementation services
+ Solid knowledge of Unix and Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat's platform and cloud offerings
+ Knowledge of OpenStack technology is a plus
+ Presales and sales engineering experience
+ Proven record of selling software technology
+ Linux or open source product knowledge is a plus
+ Motivated with the ability to work well within a team
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with good presentation skills
+ Willingness to travel up to 50%
