Yuvo Health is seeking an exceptional strategic thinker and operator to serve as our founding Chief of Staff, supporting the CEO and broader leadership team in key strategic initiatives throughout the organization. The Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO, overseeing many key functions critical to the Yuvo’s growth and success.

Yuvo Health aims to bring innovation to an oft-forgotten sector of the healthcare industry, and one that is reluctant to change. As a result, we seek a Chief of Staff with strong opinions, innovative thinking, intellectual horsepower, and the determination to challenge the status quo.

The Chief of Staff will act as the “right hand person” to the CEO, and will support in areas around corporate finance, governance, strategy execution, internal operations, acting as an internal consultant to our leadership team.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support several key areas of business operations, strategy, and growth, including:

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly team leadership and governance meetings, aligning directly with the CEO on business priorities
  • Developing and tracking progress against company priorities (e.g., KPIs, OKRs)
  • Managing existing and future investor relationships, including but not limited to: coordinating investor updates, developing board materials and agenda, supporting with diligence for future fundraises
  • Identifying and leading special projects across the organization that directly impact our growth and scalability. Projects can include: new market entry, internal operations improvement, business development analysis, product prioritization

Requirements

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF:

  • You have at least 5-7 years broad based strategy and operations experience, typically in a management consulting, IB/PE/VC environment, or prior early stage environment
  • You have a passion for our mission, and deep work and/or lived experience with the communities that are served by FQHCs
  • You are a strong communicator and relationship builder that can collaborate and get buy-in from a diverse set of stakeholders
  • You demonstrate strong financial stewardship and are fluent in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling
  • You’re highly analytical and use data to drive decision making
  • You implement robust processes to plan and execute key priorities and mitigate risks; delegate well and hold others accountable; drive projects to closure and completion

AND THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF:

  • You have direct prior experience operating in a healthcare services organization
  • You have an advanced degree in business administration (MBA) or healthcare administration (MHA, MPH, MHSA)
