Role Description:

This role is based in Dublin, with remote working facilitated.

You will be reporting to the Online Benefits Consultant Lead in Ireland.

Aon’s Online Benefits Platform offers a single point of access to all benefits and reward content & the role of Online Benefits Consultant brings together expertise and capability in reward and technology for our clients.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be to manage a portfolio of clients and potential clients who utilise the Aon Online Benefits Platform.

Working as part of global client teams across multiple locations is a feature of this role.

Key Expectations of the Role;

Client Relationship Management
  • Provide consultancy on design, implementation and ongoing support to clients building key client relationships
  • Support clients on their benefits design and strategy journey to help deliver their desired results from requirements gathering through design and implementation ensuring client expectations are always met and managed accordingly.
  • Accountability for implementation and ongoing services to a portfolio of Online Benefits Clients
  • You will be expected to develop new and existing client relationships bringing the best of Aon offers and new features / developments / communications by way of up-sell
  • Responsibility for smooth delivery of projects for clients
  • Own a revenue target as well as retention target
  • Be expected to motivate, engage and lead the internal client delivery team as a client partner / escalation point – you will have responsibility for client team mobilisation around new client implementations and client renewal and projects.
  • Ensure continuous deadlines are met for clients -Working in conjunction with operations and on-boarding teams to ensure tasks are on track for client delivery at all times
  • Contribution to the overall development of our proposition including new offerings, communications, voluntary benefits and functionality developments
  • Presenting new opportunities to clients proactively to develop their offering and enhance the employee experience to enable clients to achieve desired results
Qualifications/ Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong client management skills are essential to the role
  • Relevant experience around benefits design and consulting is a key requirement – a rewards background or experience in brokerage, consultancy and benefits design
  • Experience with Online / flex Benefits Implementations is desirable
  • An awareness of payroll / benefit data flows, processes and HRIS / payroll systems and interfacing will be desirable.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise – multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities will be a feature of the role and the candidate will be expected to prioritise to ensure client expectations are met
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
