The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a Cloud Architect to join our Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Telco Services team in Spain. In this role, you will work at the customer site as a subject matter expert in Red Hat's infrastructure and cloud technology. You'll answer questions about best practices around reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups, as well as lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat's technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and performance. As a Cloud Architect, you will gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business issues of our customers and make recommendations appropriate to their environments. • Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing the technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
• Learn new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
• Adapt to changing customer requirements
• Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner

• Several years of experience working in a consulting role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level
• Experience implementing virtualization technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments
• Practical delivery experience with infrastructure and cloud topics
• Knowledge of Red Hat's cloud solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform or Red Hat OpenShift
• Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
• Understanding of the open source community
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across EMEA
• Fluent language skills in English
• Knowledge of other Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Virtualization, or Red Hat CloudForms is a plus
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the ability to get it within a few weeks of being hired, is a plus
