ClassDojo’s ultimate goal is to create an education system that gives every child on Earth an education they love. We are doing this by bringing together communities of teachers, children and families, and helping them get learning experiences their children love. Last school year, we served over 40 million children around the world—with a team of just 45.

As our community support manager you’ll engage, moderate, and cultivate our facebook communities composed of thousands of teachers and school leaders so that they can learn from each other, share their best ClassDojo advice, and become champions of our product and mission. You’ll also help share great content and update across public social media channels, like twitter, instagram, and pinterest.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Create and share compelling content to teach, inspire, and bring joy to community members
  • Grow and engage the facebook communities by inviting new participants and facilitating great dialogues
  • Cultivate community champions who can share ClassDojo with their peers
  • Moderate facebook community membership and posts to make sure the conversation remains constructive, civil and on brand
  • Share your knowledge as an expert on ClassDojo

Competencies

  • Experience as a teacher and ClassDojo user
  • Experience as a facebook community moderator and active participant (Ideally in the ClassDojo communities!)
  • Great communication skills, especially guiding lively, fun, and informative conversations
  • Ability to find, create, and share great social media content
  • Active contributor to social media platforms, twitter, pinterest, instagram
