Our compensation programs are designed to reward every Atlassian. As a Compensation Specialist, youll be supporting the delivery of our annual compensation programs and processes including market pricing, annual salary adjustments, promotions, bonus and equity, aligned to the companys compensation philosophy.

Youll partner closely with HRIS, HR People Partners, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition as well as Compensation team members globally, to identify process improvements and enhancements as well as ensure our stakeholders and staff understand the value of our compensation philosophy and programs.

You'll also analyse employee, market and financial data to summarise findings, draw insights and support recommendations on compensation programs. We need your passion to work on projects and company-wide initiatives to help Atlassian execute at scale, whilst maintaining the essence of who we are.

If you are up for this, we have an awesome opportunity to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract (with a view to joining us on a permanent basis after the contract period).

You will have a minimum of three to four years experience in a compensation role, preferably in both consulting and corporate environments, with a Bachelors degree in HR or a related discipline. Youll have advanced excel skills and have experience with Workday (or a similar HRIS system). Strong eye for business, and qualitative and quantitative analytical skills are a must, with an ability to synthesise data to support decision-making. Confidentiality and discretion will come naturally to you, and youll be confident in your communication style, both verbal and written.

Youll appreciate we work in a world which is evolving and rapidly growing. Ambiguity wont stress you out. You'll have an understanding of compensation practices in Australia and preferably APAC regions.
