The Red Hat Professional Services team is looking for a Consultant to join us in Guangzhou, China. In this role, you will perform on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s solutions and offerings. You'll focus on delivering quality work resulting in a positive customer experience, while building breadth and depth of technical expertise in one or more Red Hat’s technologies. As a Consultant, you will gain understanding of customer infrastructures and business issues and make recommendations appropriate to each customer environment. You'll need to have solid technical and communication skills, experience with enterprise-wide deployments, and a record of successful projects.

• Routinely assess, design, and implement one or more Red Hat's core service offerings, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Ansible Tower, Red Hat Virtualization, etc.
• Perform troubleshooting on Red Hat Enterprise (RHEL)-related problems and incidents
• Design and implement IT infrastructure automation solutions based on Red Hat Ansible Automation and other open source tools and technologies
• Provide written project documentation that can be distributed within Red Hat and the customer management team
• Bring innovative ideas, enthusiasm, and energy to the project team while identifying new business opportunities
• Constantly learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure architecture, process, tools, and technologies, including networking, storage, OS, monitoring and automation, databases, etc.
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat’s offerings and solutions like Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat Ansible Automation, including their implementation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer management skills
• Solid communication skills in English are a plus
