The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Territory Services Manager to join us in Germany and lead our services business at Deutsche Telekom (DT) and potentially at other regional telecommunications (telco) accounts. In this role, you will work closely with the DT account team, providing leadership for services-led business opportunities and positioning consulting and training services as part of the wider Red Hat’s offerings. You’ll also be the main point of contact for our customers regarding delivery issues and you’ll coordinate the delivery activities performed by local and regional delivery teams. As part of the Red Hat Telecommunications Consulting team, you will also contribute to the evolution of the wider telco services business and participate in the ongoing process of growing and industrialising our telco services offerings. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.


  • Develop relationships and business with key customer stakeholders to grow bookings and revenue within your nominated accounts
  • Actively participate in account planning, strategy sessions, and reviews with the wider account team
  • Work closely with strategic business partners to complement solutions and maximize customer value
  • Lead stakeholders; coordinate, organize, and help facilitate discovery sessions to capture customer vision, challenges, opportunities, and goals
  • Work with the cross-functional account team and internal stakeholders to translate customer requirements into customer value propositions supported by Red Hat Services offerings and solutions
  • Lead services sales processes and ensure that projects are handed over to the Services Delivery teams properly
  • Collaborate with business development managers, solutions practices, partners and alliances, and marketing and other territory services managers on wider strategic initiatives and business development activities
  • Capture best practices in the sales and delivery process for re-use and share these with the wider EMEA and Global Services teams

  • Demonstrable achievements in a similar role in the German speaking market
  • Deep experience of sales and delivery of complex telecommunications solutions, including network functions virtualization (NFV), hybrid cloud solutions, digital transformation, operations support system (OSS) and business support system (BS) transformation, and network automation
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills in both German and English
  • Ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of customer stakeholders ranging from C level to individual contributor level
  • Ability to succeed in a complex cross-functional team
  • Ability to create and articulate a high-level vision and experience in consultative selling, service-led approach, and project management methodologies
  • Willingness to travel up to at least 50% mainly to customer sites in Germany
