Red Hat's Public Sector Consulting team is looking for a Container Consultant to join us. In this role, you will guide the adoption of Red Hat's solutions with customers. Through a series of both in-person and remote interactions, you'll earn the trust and confidence of customer engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of Red Hat's solutions. You'll play a key part in bringing together cross-functionally Red Hat's product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Services teams to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. You'll serve as a customer advocate within these organizations, aiming to deliver the right solutions and ensuring that these solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. As a Container Consultant, you'll need to have a thorough working knowledge of and practical experience with cloud architectures, their supporting infrastructures (including Linux, containers, and virtualization), and scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and Puppet. You'll also need to have knowledge of either cloud software-defined networking (SDN) or storage (object and block) disciplines and of DevOps models and technologies. While you will work remotely, this role will require travel, week over week, Monday through Thursday.
