Description:

Salesforce seeks to hire an attorney that will be primarily responsible for supporting Salesforce's M&A activities. This attorney will be based in Salesforce's San Francisco Office and reporting to Senior Director, M&A Legal.This is a rare and unique opportunity to join one of the most cutting edge companies in the world and play a key role in building its strategic vision. This attorney will interact with high-level executives and have a front row seat to the most interesting strategic deals. Responsibilities:

+ Supporting Corporate Development in M&A activities globally in a substantive fashion without extensive supervision

+ Working closely with Corporate Development and other functional groups in all stages of acquisitions, from drafting term sheet, managing deal process, performing due diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive documentation, closing deals to post-closing integration issues

+ Assisting in developing legal strategy on acquisitions

+ Driving continuous improvements, scalability and operational excellence in deal processes and execution

+ Managing outside counsel

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Four to eight years of legal experience primarily in M&A (buy-side preferred)

+ Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude

+ Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent legal and business judgment

+ Excellent communication and interpersonally skills

+ Collaborative team player who can effectively collaborate with other members of Legal and other functional groups
