Achieve3000 is looking for a Curriculum and Standards Alignment Specialist specializing in K-12 ELA, Science, and Social Studies state and national standards. This role involves the alignment of state standards to Achieve3000’s non-fiction and fiction reading passages.

This is a full-time position based remotely in the United States. We are also open to freelance employees.

Requirements/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related fields
• 3-5 years’ experience aligning educational materials to U.S. state and U.S. national standards
• Strong familiarity with U.S. state and national standards
• Experience mapping state standards to curriculum
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Prioritize workload and meet critical milestones/deadlines on a tight schedule
• Work both independently and collaborate virtually with all team members and staff
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Strong technical and word processing skills

Responsibilities:

• Review content and assess alignment to U.S. state and national standards
• Review existing curriculum alignments to confirm documented coverage is accurate
• Support curriculum-based projects with knowledge of state and national standards
• Work closely with technology team to ensure accuracy in standards input in online platform
• Develop system for ensuring materials are aligned to most current version of standards
• Align current content with specific state standards and scope and sequence documents to create customized collections
