The Red Hat Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team is looking for a Data Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for building data reports, presentations, and self-service dashboards. You’ll be responsible for delivering analysis and actionable insights to the Sales Operations team. You'll work closely with the regional sales and business support teams. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining data quality activities and associated ad hoc reporting. You’ll be supporting reporting and dashboarding requests from the Sales Operations team.

• Collaborate with on-site and off-site stakeholders to compile detailed metrics on sales and customer data
• Collaborate with the operations, finance, and IT teams to support projects that develop repeatable and scalable processes and system logic for reporting across the organization
• Analyze and interpret data across all platforms and tools
• Create business reports and dashboards while supporting regular and ad hoc deliverables
• Participate in planning and analysis projects for stakeholders
• Create data models to support decision making
• Translate complex system and process issues into simple and understandable terms and use this knowledge to analyze strategic decisions

• Graduate degree in computer science or statistics with 4+ years of work experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
• Experience with requirements gathering and interaction with stakeholders, change management, and report development life cycle
• Solid spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large data sets, conducting analyses, and building models
• Good understanding of reporting and dashboarding; familiarity with industry standard dashboard tools like QlikView or Tableau
• Experience working for or working with sales, business consulting, or marketing teams
• Experience using data mining tools like SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) is a plus
• Ability to build complex business logic and translate it into functional systems logic
• Ready to consistently work extended hours during periods of high demand like quarter or year end
