Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst with exceptional data mining, extraction, and modeling experience combined with keen business acumen. The successful candidate will work with a combination of financial and operational data and will work to validate, organize, enrich and analyze data to generate insights. This is a remote position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Data collection as well as the identification, processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data from a myriad of sources.

• Data extraction including scriptwriting and execution for data mining and analytics.

• Building scalable, flexible data models.

• Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear manner.

• Creating insightful data visualizations and compelling data views.

Qualifications/Technical Skill Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, and reporting.

• Direct experience in the broadband industry preferred.

• Proficiency in using Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot and VBA) and Tableau.

• Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SQL database structures, access, and modification required.

• Experience with Salesforce desired.

• Excellent query and scripting skills.

• Familiarity working with multiple data sources including financial and operational data.

• Ability to work with data visualization tools and techniques desired.

• Ability to translate information into compelling data views is a must.

• Proven ability to communicate with clients at any level.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and an ability to work independently is required.

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree is required.
