The Red Hat Products and Technology Data and Analytics team is looking for a skilled Data Information Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you'll need to have an established set of foundational skills and the ability to learn new skills quickly. You'll also need to have SQL programming skills and business insight. You'll need to be motivated and able to work without direct supervision in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous environment. As a Data Information Analyst, you will translate and manipulate large sets of data, build visual reports and automated dashboards, and create and maintain tools to enable the team. You should be creative to understand the complex processes and come up with automation or alternate to streamline complex and manual validation.

• Identify strategic business questions, key metrics, and actionable insights
• Provide consumer-ready recommendations, insights, and reporting to the analytics team leadership, live producers, product managers, and partner groups
• Implement needle moving improvements via hands-on exploration of data, dashboards, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
• Combine qualitative and quantitative-driven insights with game knowledge to recommend potential avenues to the game and business teams
• Manage requirements for data collection and for data modeling with data engineers
• Work as part of a team of data analysts and engineers

• Ability to solve problems and test and implement new technologies and tools
• Excellent data manipulation skills using SQL
• Experience with Qlik Sense or Tableau or any data visualization tool is a huge plus
• Solid Excel and Google spreadsheets experience
• Good documentation skills
• Object-oriented Python programming experience; experience with R programming language is a plus
• Experience with database system administration and scripting
• Knowledge of data systems and how they interact with each other
• Experience developing data offerings using custom web applications
• Well-versed in the current industry landscape in terms of computer software, programming languages, and technologies
• Familiarity with Red Hat's solutions portfolio and open source software development
• Resourceful and willing to learn new tools and skills as the business changes
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large data sets and preparing various reports and dashboards for executives
• Willingness to quickly learn other programming languages like Python and the ability to demonstrate the learning progress by solving business problems
