The Red Hat Operations team is looking for a Data Operations Support to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining customer data and for analyzing and creating important insights for sales teams in Japan. You’ll work closely with the Operations, Order Management, and Sales teams in Japan, as well as with the Customer Data team across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

• Be responsible for maintenance and integrity of customer data in all systems, including Oracle and Salesforce.com (SFDC)
• Assist in improving the order process by creating reports and a tracking system
• Participate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to systematic issues
• Engage in providing inputs on data cleansing projects and in developing improvement plans
• Work alongside the Sales team to provide detailed and actionable analysis to support business and ensure efficient performance
• Translate data into meaningful business recommendations and actions

• 1-3 years of experience with data analysis and report creation
• High analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in using data analysis to draw conclusions and take appropriate action or make good recommendations
• Solid attention to detail; ability to prioritize requests and deliver upon stakeholder expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and English is a plus
