Research, catalyze, and guide innovative solutions that enable more robust reporting and analytics across the talent life cycle. The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for a Data Scientist to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will guide the impact of people analytics across Red Hat. You’ll specialize in data mining, modeling, and analytics to understand the effect that people-related decisions have on talent and business outcomes. You’ll need to be comfortable working with multiple datasets and software languages to perform advanced data analyses. You’ll be expected to deliver a wide range of reports and analyses, from ad hoc reports to long-term deep-dive analyses on processes and correlating datasets. You’ll participate in projects which will require collaborative partnerships with other analytics functions within Red Hat and talent program owners within HR to consult on measurement strategy, developing visuals to inform program decision making, and utilizing predictive analytics to enhance program effectiveness. Your technical skills should include experience with R, SQL, and SAS Analytics. As a Data Scientist, you will be expected to manage your projects on your own, from customer engagement and planning to operationalizing outcomes in a scalable and sustainable way.
