Query Optimizer and Stream Processing Team

As part of the core database team, the engineers on our query team are responsible for the query processing and analytics capabilities of our time series platform. If you build query processors, query engines, query optimizers, or stream processing systems, and are interested in open source time series analytics, we want to talk to you.

We highly value experience contributing to a project like the ones below:

• Apache Beam (https://beam.apache.org)

• Apache Arrow (https://arrow.apache.org)

• Apache Flink (https://flink.apache.org)

• Apache Spark (https://spark.apache.org)

• Druid.io query engine.

• A NewSQL query optimizer

• An OLAP query optimizer

• The InfluxDB database team is mostly remote. Demonstration of working remotely is a strong plus.
