The Delivery Executive is a customer facing leader responsible for managing large-scale programs ($1M+). The Delivery Executive will be focused on providing leadership and guidance for our customer’s transformation strategy by managing and executing complex implementations (cloud, on-premise or hybrid) with a complete focus on customer success. This role requires a combination of deep subject matter knowledge and program management expertise. The ideal candidate will have had recent customer-facing experience driving transformation at scale.

What you’ll achieve:

3 months:

  • Ramp up on the MuleSoft’s CIO narrative, product value proposition and outcome based delivery approach, while establishing credibility within the organization. During this time you will also come to understand the services team's operational processes while proactively partnering with Engagement Managers to get up to speed regarding ongoing customer engagements in your regions.

  • Shadow ongoing deliveries and take ownership of specific customer work packages, in tandem with existing Delivery Managers. Participate in sales and planning cycles, assisting with the creation of integrated program plans.

  • Lead a transformational program end-to-end. Develop and manage customer relationships. Manage all aspects of the program. Develop communications cadence with key customer stakeholders at the executive.

  • Drive the planning and design of new deliveries in concert with account teams.

12 months:

  • Drive large-scale programs based on the core pillars of MuleSoft’s approach: business outcomes, technology delivery and organizational enablement.

  • Manage concurrent and interdependent workstreams centered on the above core pillars.

  • Provide deep subject matter expertise related to MuleSoft’s API-led connectivity and agile development methodologies. Mentor and coach Customer stakeholders in a consultative manner

  • Drive accountability across all parties involved (MuleSoft, Customer, Partner, subcontractors, 3rd party software and services providers)

  • Core project management: proactively manage program budget, resources, risks, communication and governance.

  • Planning and strategy: work as part of an integrated account team to map project deliverables to the broader business outcomes and strategic objectives of the account.


What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A proven track record of mastering project delivery management, leaving your customers extremely happy and wanting more

  • Enterprise software consulting background with top-tier vendor or systems integrator

  • Familiar with agile and waterfall methodologies

  • PMP and/or SCRUM certified

  • Ability to rapidly switch contexts and drive multiple workstreams in parallel, in a very fast-paced environment

  • Relentless focus on customer satisfaction and business outcome

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, reliable and accountable

  • Familiar with NetSuite OpenAir or similar PSA tools

  • Familiar with enterprise integration projects

  • The ability to travel up to 75%, as necessary
