As part of the tech team, you will join a team of experts working on building the best product possible using the latest technologies and without compromise on the code legacy. Our stack is: Rails 5.2 with Vue.js, and AWS with Docker and Terraform


Mission

  • Structure and improve our deployment pipeline (e.g blue/green)
  • Develop scaling and automation process and aim for 0-downtime infrastructure 
  • Improve the core product by adding micro-services 
  • Build better development environment for the team
  • Implement and improve our monitoring process

Our vision this year is to leverage fully decoupled architectures and microservices at scale with a reliable, event-driven, auto-healing infrastructure behind the scenes.

    Current stack:

    • AWS (ECS/RDS/EC/MediaConvert)
    • Ubuntu / Nginx / Puma / Passenger
    • Ruby on Rails (back-end framework) & Apollo (back-end framework) & Vue.js (front-end framework)
    • Sidekiq (workers)
    • Webpack
    • CircleCI & Github Action
    • Redash (SQL queries)
    • Sentry (error catcher)

    Some metrics:

    • We store, aggregate and compute 1M+ events / day today, 100M+ by next year
    • We analyse and take live decisions based on 1M+ events / day
    • We aim to keep a 99.99999% uptime while dealing with an exponential activity growth

    Requirements

    • 3+ years in DevOps
    • You're an expert in the AWS ecosystem (RDS, ECS, EC2, S3, etc.)
    • You're familiar with Terraform
    • You worked with Docker
    • You're familiar with Linux server distributions
    • Experience in software development is a great plus
    • Experience in security operations is a plus 
    • You are autonomous and own your topics 
    • You have an eye for details and you're very rigorous
    • You can take a step back to identify bottlenecks in a infrastructure and fix them
    • You have experience in taking strategic decisions to scale an infrastructure
