DevSecOps Analyst

Pivotal-i4DM (www.Pivotal-i4DM.com) is seeking a DevSecOps Analyst to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business - specifically our growing team at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

We need a well-rounded team member with experience designing, implementing, and supporting DevSecOps product implementation solutions and processes to support a critical call center for our nation's veterans. In addition, our analyst support the implementation of DevSecOps practices including build/release management, secure SDLC/DevSecOps practices including security processes in CI/CD pipeline, and design and develop impactful automation. We're looking for a team member that communicates effectively, works well on Agile teams, and is able to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver tasks based on project objectives; provide DevSecOps technical support to the implementation and operations team.  
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality, documented and support transition of operational activities.
  • Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
  • Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other DevOps team members.
  • Be active in evaluating and recommending new technologies to our DevSecOps and Salesforce Practice
  • Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevSecOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice.
  • Assist application teams with on-boarding to the adopted security tools/technologies; working with vendors to troubleshoot the platform and issues related to such integrations.
  • Provide DevSecOps technical support to the VA HC implementation and operations team.  
  • Support operational software engineering practices such as unit testing, code reviews, full build testing, quality engineering practices and requirements capturing techniques to the teams to improve end to end secure delivery practices
  • Understand the system architecture of the complex and critical call center solution, with a Salesforce backbone
  • Understand each individual module that makes up the solution
  • Understand the system integration architecture
  • Provide assistance documenting various aspects of the solution
  • Actively participate on an Agile-Scrum team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a BA/BS Degree in Information Systems or related technical area 
  • Minimum One (1) years of experience managing a Salesforce Production Environment
  • Salesforce App Builder Certification preferred
  • Minimum Three (3) years of experience as a DevSecOps Analyst/Engineer
  • Some experience with DevSecOps tools that may include Jira, jenkins, git, apex, Junit, selenium, maven, nexus, eclipse, cucumber, micro focus, banboo, and/or copado
  • Have solid Client Interaction and Problem solving skills
  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired
