Position Description

The Revenue Operations Director will work cross-functionally with business owners to manage operational issues, understand and execute policies, implement processes, frame recommendations to improve and scale the support provided by the revenue operations team. You will be responsible for developing short and long-term strategies for managing resources within salesforce Order to Cash / Quote to Compensation. This encompasses organic growth as well as resources secured during mergers and acquisitions.

This role is charged with managing day-to-day operation activities that drive revenues and costs while meeting SLA's to internal customers. You will act as the leader of a shared service center for other regional and global operation teams, which work closely with the sales team to understand issues and challenges, and determine best strategy for operationalizing.

You must have a proven track record of solving complex problems, resolving conflict, and implementing innovative solutions. Ideal candidates have specific experience with project lifecycle management. This role must act independently and own the implementation and impacts of assigned projects, and demonstrate the ability to be successful in a team-oriented environment.


Run the business

  • Understand business processes, the flow of data within and between processes, and recommend process improvements for effective processing of sales orders
  • Has global responsibility for all Quote to Compensation aspects submitted by the business (directly or indirectly), and act as business partner with the Global Revenue Operations management team
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are processed within SLA’s

Be the catalyst for change

  • Work with Systems and IT teams to clarify business process and data needs and provide guidance on the implementation of process-related projects, as well as supporting and executing end to end UAT
  • Work with global business partners to manage data and operations projects
  • Align with business stakeholders on project requirements to ensure success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and resolve issues
  • Communicate plans to stakeholders
  • Ensure the successful integration of acquired products and processes into the Order to Cash systems
  • Meet with leadership to identify drivers of inefficiencies and present options for resolving inefficient behavior

Lead the team

  • Coordinate and execute recruitment, hiring and training practices required to ensure appropriate levels of staffing in India. Coordinate these activities with counterparts globally.
  • Build a streamlined operations team in accordance with the growth of the business

  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree required (Operations, Business, Finance)
  • Requires 8+ years related experience
  • Ability to learn quickly in a highly dynamic fast pace environment
  • Ability to work in a large scale Global organisation
  • Ability to work across groups with multiple authority levels to produce desirable outcomes
  • Ability to quantify quickly and make recommendations based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to drive alignment on priorities within senior management
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Experience managing a direct team in a matrixes organisation. Strong leader and motivator.
