The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Enablement Lead to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the strategic direction of our consultant learning programs, which are focused on technology, project, program, and people management. You’ll be responsible for the direction of the enablement program for Red Hat Consulting in North America, as well as collaborating on the creation of training content by the Global Partner and Technical Enablement (GPTE) team. This will ensure that the overall training and enablement programs incorporate the requirements and needs of the North America Consulting team. As an Enablement Lead, you will regularly communicate with all of Red Hat's learning teams as well as with the corporate services leadership teams to ensure streamlined messaging across organizations and the consultant base. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.


  • Determine training needs and learning requirements based on regular needs analysis and collaboration with the leadership team
  • Shape course creation by topic area and level of depth to ensure applicability to the North America Consulting team
  • Manage North America-wide enablement timelines and priorities
  • Work with regional Services leadership to define a capacity plan with milestones and deliverables, including current and future staffing and skill set needs
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with GPTE, Consulting, and the Global Learning Council
  • Collaborate with the Resource Management team to analyze current skill sets and future needs to help better organize and optimize enablement sessions
  • Partner with product teams and subject matter experts to assist with definition of enablement sessions as well as issue resolution
  • Work with Consulting team’s people managers to facilitate personal and professional growth plans for their consultants
  • Solicit candidates for formal bootcamp sessions and handle communication and logistical support for those candidates before, during, and after the sessions
  • Serve as the central point of contact for the North America Consulting team on enablement options and plans

  • Knowledge of Red Hat’s solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple product teams within an organization
  • Experience organizing and coordinating complex training programs
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business needs
  • Solid program management experience
  • Great communications skills
