We're building software that enables industrial companies to improve their manufacturing practices in real time. We make it easy to create documentation for any employee to learn how to build everything from electric vehicles to hypersonic airplanes to COVID-19 vaccines. Workers who assemble rockets and fast airplanes or test drugs don’t come into their job with these skills and need to get trained and certified on specific machinery and grow into new roles as their skills improve. Dozuki is revolutionizing the way the industrial firms train their employees at lightning-fast speeds.

Our north star is teaching people at scale how to accomplish tasks in the real world. The biggest obstacle to people learning is a lack of information, so our software makes it easy to create training information in any language to be deployed on any device.

Manufacturers are stuck using 20th century tools–you’d be shocked how many times we find reams of paper on the assembly line. We’re replacing that with a modern and sophisticated content and training management system. Building off of the solid technical foundation we began at iFixit, the highly popular online repair wiki, we are building an enterprise-grade training platform with data collection capabilities, on premise product delivery via Terraform, and a spectrum of manufacturing-oriented features like worker skill ratings.

At Dozuki you’ll be managing a high-caliber team of engineers blended between the beautiful city of San Luis Obispo and remote.

Requirements

This job isn’t easy. We have to manage the complexities of revision control and offline mobile access. We also make all content automatically machine translated (we just added Haitian Creole support!), but provide humans the ability to improve the text. And we natively support rich media, from photos to videos to technical schematics.
