フィールドエンジニアとして、プリおよびポストセールス時に営業チームとデータサイエンスチームの両方をサポートします。プリセールス活動には、セキュリティ、アーキテクチャ、POC関連のディスカッションとサポートが含まれますが、これに限定されません。フィールドエンジニアは通常、特定のアカウントを複数持ち、それらの顧客がDataRobotを最良の状態で維持できるようにする責任があります。顧客の関連部門の人たちと協力してそのプラットフォームを最大限に活用してもらうようにします。データサイエンスチームとの緊密な連携により、お客様が実用的な予測モデルを作成し、運用に移行するお手伝いをします。

主な必要経験・スキル

• エンタープライズ顧客向けにテクニカルおよびエンジニアリングサポートを5年以上行った実務経験
• Linux上で動作するプラ​​ットフォームのインストール、管理、サポートの経験
• 大規模なエンタープライズ顧客環境にエンタープライズソフトウェアを導入しサポートしてきた実務経験・知識
• 10-30％の出張が可能
• ビジネスレベルの英語と母語レベルの日本語

あれば役に立つ能力・経験

• クラウドIaaSプロバイダ（AWS EC2、Azure）の経験
• 優れた記述能力とコミュニケーション能力
• Hadoop、Spark、またはBIの専門知識
• コンピュータサイエンスの学士号、関連分野またはそれに相当する実践的な経験

As a Field Engineer, you will be supporting both the sales and data science teams during help clients during presales and post-sales. Pre-sales activities include but are not limited to security, architecture and POC-related discussions and support. Field Engineers usually have named accounts and are responsible for the successful maintenance of our platform by those customers, so a passion for working with people and helping them utilize our platform to the fullest! Through close collaboration with our Data Science team, you’ll be assisting clients with operationalizing models and moving them into production.

This role provides an immense opportunity for growth and expanding knowledge in data science.

We Want You to Have:

• 5+ years of experience of working with enterprise customers, providing outstanding technical and engineering support;
• Experience installing, managing and supporting platforms running on Linux.
• Working knowledge of enterprise software with experience of supporting its deployment in large enterprise accounts.
• Willingness to travel (10-30%)
• Strong communication skills in English and Japanese

Bonus points:

• Experience with cloud IaaS providers (AWS EC2, Azure).
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Hadoop, Spark or BI expertise.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
