Job Responsibilities As a highly technical member of the team, actively seek to master our tech stack, tools, and practices like React.js, Redux, Javascript, CSS and other frontend technologies. Complete complex modifications, refactoring, and bug fixes to existing functionality without the need for oversight. Ask questions to seek clarity. Take the floor when you have information, experience, or perspective to share. Actively participate and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews. All team members are expected to always be intimately familiar with, and working towards delivery of those commitments, never against. In partnership with Product Management, actively seek to gain a deeper understanding of the business context under which your team operates. Leverage this understanding to present feature recommendation to your Product Owner. In partnership with Design, continue to build empathy for the primary, as well as secondary, personas your team supports. Leverage this empathy to recommend small design changes to your Designer. Requirements 3+ years JavaScript experience including es6/2017/next Experience developing/supporting productionalized SPAs (single page applications) 2+ years using a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Angular (prefer React) Skills Familiarity with one or more front end state management libraries Redux, Mobx, etc. Understanding of modern frontend build systems such as Webpack, Gulp, Babel, etc. Experience writing quality front end unit and integration tests Cross browser CSS Comfortable with one or more CSS processors sass, less, postcss Experience working in a modern software development environment using practices such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, test driven development, pair programming, Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, XP Experience with cloud technologies. AWS, Azure etc. are nice to have.
