Front End Developer (Freelance) Remote mParticle is seeking a Freelance Front End Developer to support our growing Marketing and Design teams. As our Front End Developer you care deeply about building beautiful and intuitive websites and emails. The ideal candidate will not only write clean, comprehensible front-end code but have experience in maintaining and updating websites so that they are fast, pixel-perfect, and best in class. Current Tech Stack Website built in React.js Heroku for hosting and management Prismic for content management Salesforce Pardot for email management and marketing automation Piwik Pro for site analytics and tracking Splash Enterprise for event management and landing pages Squarespace for one-off site builds Responsibilities Work with our design and marketing teams to create and update our website, landing pages, microsites, emails and other digital properties. Own development/management of our public facing websites from end-to-end. Maintain and refine our existing code base to ensure quality, speed, and scalability as we grow. Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and elegant interactive experiences. Desired Experience Have at least 3 years of experience building responsive websites. Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.js Advanced understanding of web & email standards and best practices for cross browser-compatibility, load time reduction, accessibility, and SEO Experience in developing and maintaining websites in Prismic, or other headless CMS systems Experience in building clean, fail-proof HTML emails Strong skills in CSS and Javascript transitions and animations Able to translate comps and wireframes into pixel perfect code A strong interest in visual design and UX. You must care equally about code quality and design quality Believe in simple code over clever code Be curious, proactive, passionate, detail-oriented and a team player Able to work in a fast-paced environment, to be flexible, and to quickly adapt to new information and priorities Experience with building and maintaining responsive landing pages and email templates in Pardot a plus Experience building and integrating API’s, plugins, widgets, etc. is also a plus About mParticle Founded in 2013, mParticle is an industry-leading customer data platform.
