Frontend Designer

We are looking for a frontend designer to help us build websites and other kinds of digital solutions for our client partners.


Responsibilities:
  • Creating component-based user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that look beautiful in all modern browsers / operating systems
  • Working with a team on projects that could include, but are not limited to websites, web applications, native mobile applications, and e‑commerce stores
  • Using Git to manage code and collaborate with developers
  • Optimizing websites for accessibility and performance
  • Working with Craft CMS and implementing front-end templates in Twig
  • Interfacing directly with clients (usually designers or entrepreneurs), educating them, providing insight, and a great customer experience
  • Improving on our processes and technology to make us more efficient and valuable
  • Potential to make meaningful contributions to any of our company’s side products

Technologies
In addition to a proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, we rely on many of the following technologies. Familiarity with a few of them would be nice:
  • Git
  • Design tools, for instance: Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma
  • Craft CMS / Twig
  • Webpack / modern front-end tooling
  • React
  • Node.js
