We are seeking applications for a full-time sales assistant position at our remote company.  The position will assist the sales manager with processing contracts, updating salesforce, reaching out to potential leads and joining our team meeting calls.  This may require travel during our events which occur 4-6 times per year.  This role will also work with marketing to assist with customer service inquiries from clients to route them to the correct contact.


The position will work on various products at the company, however will have an initial focus of maternity leave coverage (Dec-Feb) for our flagship events (see links below). There are 50 key clients who support the events through sponsorships, grants and exhibit hall booths. Tasks will include but are not limited to closing booth sales, processing sponsorship contracts and communicating with clients for these events.

This role will also support the sales manager with various sales administration tasks for the other products, and for the right applicant, this position has the potential to grow into a sales manager role.

Our 2 flagship events:

  • Attend meetings and take notes
  • Client communication
  • Prepare contracts and proposals
  • Proofread documents for sales manager
  • Update client CRM
  • Set client appointments
  • Assist with social media updates
  • Closing exhibit and ad (etc) sales
  • Pulling and preparing reports for sales manager


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to use web-based project management and other software tools

$45,000 – $50,000 base, plus commission, plus bonus, plus health insurance contribution

You are responsible for your own high-speed internet (minimum specs will be provided).
