The Red Hat Facilities team is looking for a Global Security Operations Center Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will manage the effective delivery of a global security operations center tasked with mitigating risks related to employee life safety or business disruption. You will deliver security intelligence offerings and support critical incident management.


  • Set operational strategy and overall program maturity; ensure operational efficiency and the highest quality in delivery of security operations center services
  • Provide leadership and operational guidance for a global team of security operators and intelligence analysts including supervisors and shift leads
  • Outline position requirements and expectations for outstanding security operators and security intelligence analysts
  • Develop a comprehensive onboarding, training, and career development plan for associates
  • Be responsible for intake and development of any new services and support
  • Manage, administer, and work within software programs used to support operational processes like executive security, emergency notification, global incidents, etc.
  • Maintain and develop solid vendor partnerships
  • Serve as a point of escalation for any intercompany customer service issues
  • Validate completion of system checks and work orders to correct deficiencies
  • Maintain knowledge of security systems and regulation requirements for a security operations center

  • Security systems and applications experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members to achieve the highest level of performance
