Superlist is a fast-growing business. We are a fully distributed team of 20 people and want to build a category leading productivity product. We believe the key for success is people having all the tools they need to organize, integrate, and humanize their work. Hence, Superlist is made for teams, but designed for people.

As the Head of People you will join as a member of our leadership team and lead our People function (recruiting, L&D, admin) and internal operations (knowledge documentation, team offsites). You will work closely with our CEO to build a highly effective organization with a strong culture and create one of the best distributed workplaces in the world.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We're a team of highly motivated people that came together to challenge how collaboration and team management software works. Our team is a remote-first, international, and experienced group of individuals. We value self-organization and taking over responsibilities and new challenges. Our goal is to constantly evolve and redefine our development process, challenge technical and design decisions, and push the boundaries to make sure we build the best product possible.

We work flexible hours, believe in a healthy work/life balance, and will allow working remotely. We require you to be a full-time employee, but we can discuss reduced workweeks.

  • You have a proven track record in building up and leading the People function in a startup environment for min. 30 employees. You are knowledgeable and passionate about hiring, developing talent, company culture, managing change and are up-to-date with the current best practices.

  • You can balance being strategic and being hands-on. You're a results-oriented leader who can set goals and has good project management skills (goals, milestones, tasks) and work in an agile and iterative manner.

  • You have great communication skills; experience in working in a remote-first environment on a distributed team is a huge plus.

  • You are empathic and create strong collaborative relationships.

  • You have an analytical mindset and know how to use data to improve processes and performance.

  • You are self-driven, achievement-oriented, and hungry, really wanting to drive change, sell ideas, and make decisions.

  • You have a growth mindset and are a lifelong learner; getting better is part of your regular work/lifestyle.

  • Knowledge of German Labor Law is required. Experience working with services like Remote.com or Oyster is a big plus.
