Stacker is seeking an inspiring and operationally savvy Head of Talent to scale and lead our recruiting organization. In this role, your goal will be to double the team (currently at ~40 FTEs) by the end of 2022 and lay the talent acquisition foundations to continue that growth into 2023 - all while maintaining a focus on people, culture and diversity that has been the primary driver of Stacker’s growth to date.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the COO and executive team to develop and drive a centralized talent acquisition strategy
  • Evaluate, improve, and streamline current ATS system and recruiting processes around interview and candidate assessment to ensure a best-in-class talent acquisition function
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to define organization resource needs, ensuring we are thoughtfully scaling the business, with capacity and culture top of mind
  • Design and implement interview processes that minimize bias and result in stronger hiring decisions, while providing an excellent candidate experience
  • Implement and build scalable sourcing strategies through vendor support and/or internal resourcing to grow candidate pipelines
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all things Talent related; develop, maintain, and improve people-related policies and employee handbook
  • Design and deliver a second to none employee experience that is scalable for company growth through team building, leadership coaching, perks programs, rewards/recognition, special events, and more
  • Ensure our talent pool is as diverse as our consumer base, now and for the future

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as Talent Lead/Director or similar Recruiting role
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques
  • Recruiting experience in high growth startups or tech-enabled companies, with experience leading and developing a team in driving innovative talent acquisition strategies
  • Proven track record successfully scaling organizations, aligning talent acquisition strategies with both high growth business and culture objectives.
  • Highly organized and process oriented operator with expert project management skills
  • People person with low ego and a strong instinct for collaboration
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in undefined environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
