The Red Hat Enterprise Sales team is looking for an Incremental Sales Account Representative to join us in Munich, Germany. In this role, you'll handle relationships with our mid-market accounts with a focus on local accounts in the retail, logistics, and service area, helping our customers and partners make business and information technology (IT) transformations through our services and solutions. You’ll be given the opportunity to work collaboratively with multi-cultural internal and external teams to improve business and create solutions that serve Red Hat and our top-tier German customers.

  • Sell Red Hat's offerings, systems, and services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned focus accounts
  • Work closely with our partners to build a capable sales team
  • Concentrate on new businesses and growth of the mid-market accounts
  • Generate prospective customers through cold-calling; qualify and follow up with sales leads
  • Make sales through multichannel, inbound, or outbound sales activities
  • Coordinate communication to support other teams, for example deal desk and legal
  • Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new opportunities and renewing and growing existing

  • Build up your own pipeline and maintain forecasting and pipeline management
  • Lead qualification for dedicated focus accounts and track customer data in customer-relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Sell offerings over the phone; generate new business generation for dedicated accounts via phone
  • Prepare bids and contracts
  • Work with partners via multiple types of channels
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative performance goals

  • Demonstrated understanding of the sales processes
  • Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Thorough technical knowledge of offerings, systems, and services
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize job tasks and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
  • Experience gained in the described vertical in the last two years
  • Excellent communication skills; English language skills are a plus
