The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Infrastructure Consultant focused on virtualization to join us in Paris, France. In this role, you will lead an on-site delivery and implementation of a technology that delivers long-term freedom, flexibility, choice, and outstanding performance. You'll not only consult, but also make an impact. You'll focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and virtualization technologies. As an Infrastructure Consultant, you'll need to demonstrate knowledge of open source, solid understanding of Linux, and a record of applying these technologies successfully to solve real business problems.

• Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic information technology (IT) needs
• Constantly learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
• Produce quality results and provide support to more than one project in multiple industries and various types of projects
• Keep stakeholders updated on actual or potential issues that may affect project or company performance
• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, and software specification, as well as the design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
• Provide written project documentation that can be distributed within Red Hat and the customer management team
• Adapt to changing customer requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a consultant or in a related role
• Solid technical background in Linux, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOs, etc.
• Experience implementing virtualization technologies like Red Hat Virtualization and VMware in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite is a plus
• Understanding of the software-defined data center and related concepts
• Experience in infrastructure automation, preferably in Red Hat Ansible Automation
• Understanding of cloud management solutions and tools
• Understanding of open source communities
• Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders
• Ability to demonstrate how complicated technical and architectural decisions impact customer process and organizational setups
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across France
• French and English language skills
• Eligibility to work in France
