Help us improve our business and create solutions that serve both Red Hat and our partners. The Red Hat Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will partner with field sales professionals to create sales opportunities in new and existing partner accounts within an assigned territory. You'll identify, nurture, and close opportunities with these partners, managing forecasts on a weekly and quarterly basis, and tracking customer data. As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will also work with current partners to identify renewals and upsell and cross-sell opportunities to optimize business growth and customer satisfaction. This is a unique opportunity to join the world's largest open source company, collaborating closely with the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)-wide team focusing on internal and external partners.


  • Develop account plans to guide new incremental opportunities and pipelines within an assigned territory
  • Guide new business opportunities while growing the installed base accounts with existing offerings
  • Generate and schedule appointments and other activities as requested by your business development manager
  • Qualify inbound leads effectively and manage them to closing
  • Manage and document the details of the sales cycle in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Update and manage pipelines within your territory and prepare forecasts
  • Develop reference accounts within the designated region
  • Effectively articulate the benefits of the ISV program to internal and external customers and partners
  • Support your business development manager by providing quotes, pricing, and responses to sales queries, accounts overviews, and royalty reports
  • Work internally with the relevant back office support teams to facilitate deals

  • Fluent written and verbal language skills in English
  • 2+ years of experience and proven record of customer success
  • Ability and willingness to learn new things quickly; clear career aspirations
  • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales position with a primary focus on selling to partners or ISVs; proven record of achieving sales targets
  • Detailed understanding of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • High-quality customer service skills
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with partners
  • Experience with the open source software market is a plus
