We are looking for a talented iOS & Android engineer who cares deeply about mobile UI/UX to join our passionate development team.

The correct person will:


* Take ownership of the UI/UX within the client-side team (with a major focus on the mobile apps)

* As part of that, this position will be the main point of contact between the client and product teams

* Taking ownership means making the UI in our various clients match the current mock-ups and looking for other UX improvements that should be made




We are looking for a well-rounded engineer who has spent the last 5+ years focusing on iOS and Android UI development and has enough backend skills to make some modifications to our business logic, which is built in C++.

This position will report to our client-side team lead and work closely with our product team. You’ll be able to work 100% remotely, and we are looking for someone that can grow with our products for years to come.

This is a long-term (years, our hope is forever) full-time (40 hrs/wk) 1099 (hourly) contract role. * Have good time management skills, including having a consistent schedule

* Communicate well

* Can work until at least 1pm EST M - F

* Like having a consistent daily work schedule

* Have at least 5 years of experience building mobile apps




Front-end Development Requirements:


* Highly skilled with iOS & Android UI development

* Designing modern, gesture-based screens

* Git




Backend Development Requirements:


* Objective-C (we do not use Swift)

* Java

* Some C++ knowledge is a huge plus (or a willingness and aptitude to learn it)

* Unit tests

* Writing specification docs

* Working from design docs/specifications & wireframes




Bonus:


* Prototyping skills in Sketch, etc.
