What you’ll be doing
You’ll work with our team of Engineers, Designers, QA Engineers and Product Managers to create great iOS app experiences that help players, coaches, and parents organize their teams and their schedules. With our broad feature set and large user base, expect to learn something new daily and ship a product that matters to millions of TeamSnap users.
You have experience
-
5 years building native iOS apps
-
Architecting apps with Swift
-
Maintaining Objective-C code
-
Using Autolayout and UIKit to build performance-oriented view hierarchies
-
Effectively utilizing concurrency paradigms using GCD
- With version control systems, such as Git
Some things we feel are important
-
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, mobile UX, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Passion for great user experience - we have designers on staff, but we want you to be interested in what makes a great feature for our customers.

A willingness to travel to other parts of the country, on average once a quarter, for all company gatherings, team meetings, conferences, and the like.

Flexibility, teamwork, empathy, mentorship, sense of humor and the willingness to do what’s necessary to help a small company grow.
Other things that would be nice to have:

A computer science background.

Experience with messaging and/or high-growth social networking applications

Involvement in youth or adult recreational sports, as a player, parent or coach. We’d love for you to experience firsthand how our customers use our product and how it could be improved.

Experience working as part of a distributed team.

Location
We are headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, but this job is remote (unless you happen to live near Boulder, in which case you’re welcome to come to the office). While TeamSnap is a mostly-distributed company, Engineering is fully distributed. You must be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same physical location as you or each other. While we love all parts of the world, we can only hire US-based citizens at this time.
